Watch this space!

PREVIOUS EVENTS 2025/6

Some of our younger visitors discovering the wildlife in our pond ably assisted by Ali! It was extremely hot but didn’t stop everyone enjoying the garden, taking a chance on the tombola, purchasing honey, crafts, produce and sampling tea and cake.

Our amazing volunteer Liz brought her beautiful bees along and everyone learned how these wonderful creatures live and support their queen in the hive. We also made candles which are proudly on show!

Charlotte took a new gang of bat enthusiasts through Englefield. Here they are, stopping at the church for a moment, while listening to the sonar to detect the different species in the area.

Our first Bat Walk was a great success with Charlotte giving a very informative talk before everyone set out thankfully avoiding heavy rain. They detected 5 species – Soprano and Common pipistrelles, Noctule, Serotine and Daubenton’s bats and a possible Brown Long Eared too. We look forward to hosting more Bat Walks so watch this space!

2024 Wreath making

“We loved our workshop. Was great to learn how to create the willow Wreath from scratch and then decorate it. Lovely atmosphere and refreshments too. Will definitely be back in December. Thank you. Xx”
