About Five a Day Garden

Five a Day was started in 2009 by Pam Goddard. Pam worked in social services and worked closely with Englefield Garden Centre. When she discovered that the land opposite was available she put together a business plan and started Five a Day. Her vision was to have a market garden that was available for anyone who would benefit from the garden. Whether it was learning where your food came from, gardening for exercise or eating local natural produce.

14 years later we are still managing the garden and realising Pam’s vision.
